Jennifer Horsley, Owner/ Creative director
After years in the design world and a move to Montana, I made the entrepreneurial leap and founded Habitat on the belief that event design and coordination should be tailored to each client's unique story and vision; no two weddings are the alike and I want to keep it that way! We partner with each of our clients to edit through the fleeting trends to create a tailored and refined vison infused with special and thoughtful moments. While we love delving into the many details and design possibilities, our main focus is experience, your experience as a bride and groom, as well as the experience your family and friends will take away with them. At it’s very core this is what celebrations are, an amazing once in lifetime event, our goal is for guests to take this feeling with them well beyond the wedding weekend.
When I am not in the studio creating you can find me world exploring and soaking up inspiration (Africa you are forever my favorite!), wrangling my sassy hounds, and always, always thinking about weddings…what can I say?! I love them!!
I truly know all business owners appreciate their team but I really could not be more grateful for each and every member who brings Habitat to life. I am continually in a state of awe and appreciation at the amazing creativity, organization, communication, passion, and love that each of these ladies gives to the many facets of our work and especially and most importantly to our clients and vendor partners. Katelynn Hanser, Production Manager and Floral Director
We are pleased to introduce our Production Manager, Katelynn. With over 10 years of experience in event production, Katelynn has a strong track record of executing successful events. Katelynn is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from planning and logistics to on-site management to floral and rental decor.
Katelynn's expertise includes managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring that every detail aligns with our vision for each event. Katelynn is known for her ability to problem-solve under pressure and maintain a collaborative atmosphere among team members.
With her keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence, Katelynn plays an integral role in bringing our events to life. We are confident that her leadership will continue to elevate the quality of our productions.
Miss Ellie
Hi my name is Miss Ellie, I am a little outspoken. My duties include head of security, lap warmer, and unofficial dust mop. When I am not taking a nap on my bed (a girl needs her beauty sleep!) you will find me in the window enjoying the sunshine and watching the world go by.
We sadly said goodbye to our sweet girl in March 2023. She was incredibly loved and adored at Habitat and made every day so much better. Miss Ellie was one of a kind and will forever be in our hearts and will forever be our littlest Habitat mascot.

ASPCA, Animal Hope and Wellness, The Virunga National Park Endowment, and The World Wildlife Fund.
