This couple was so in love...this is the first thought that comes to mind when thinking back to their unbelievably beautiful and timeless wedding. Jayne and Matt were married in January at the Jefferson Hotel in Washington DC, which was the site of their first date- I mean...so adorable, right?! The hotel had such special meaning to the couple, Jayne wanted to be true to the existing decor in Plume, the dining room nestled inside the hotel, which oozes elegance with its beautiful tones of gray and cream, gorgeous chandeliers, and a cozy fireplace. One of the first elements we brought in was antique silver vessels for the centerpieces. Jayne, her mother Kim (who is one of the greatest collaborators I have worked with!), and I scoured antique stores in Georgetown for vintage pieces to enhance the tables. Our florist, English Rose Garden, filled them to the brim with ivory garden roses and a wee bit of boxwood foliage. From there the decor fell seamlessly into place, from the vintage stamps on the invitations, the custom keepsake boxes filled with fragrant lavender and a note from the bride and groom; to the garland adorned mantle everything was effortless. Enjoy taking a peek at their day, which was so beautifully captured by Michael Falco from Christian Oth Studio.
